Thakur Yugraj Singh Mahavidyalaya was founded in 2005. It is one of the oldest self finance college in Fatehpur district in the backdrop of one of the most backward district in Uttar Pradesh. Thakur Yugraj Singh Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college of the Prof. Rajendra Singh (Rajju Bhaia) University, Prayagraj. The College is recognized under 2(f) & 12(b) of the UGC Act.

We offer twelve Post Graduate programmes in Hindi, English, History, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Home Science, Zoology, Botany, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Further we also sum Bachelor’s programmes in Science, Commerce and Bachelor of Arts. We also offer Diploma in Elementary Education.

Thakur Yugraj Singh Mahavidyalaya built on a plot of 8000sqm.in Shanti Nagar, Fatehpur. There are Three Blocks of three Story Building with the features of green building. There is already Rain water harvesting system in place. There are already solar panels being installed on the roof tops of every building block for electricity generation and various waste management systems have been installed for the treatment of bio waste, chemical waste & e-waste.

The are various facilities available in the Thakur Yugraj Singh Mahavidyalaya Campus- Parking, Badminton court, Table Tanis Court, Carrom Boards, Volleyball Court, Basketball Court, Running Track, Gymnasium and Yoga Centre, Medical Room, Separate Common Room of Girls and Boys, Lift for Physically Disabled individuals, Cafeteria, Guest house and separate hostels for Boys and Girls.

There are three air-conditioned seminar halls having capacity of two hundred each. Each seminar hall is equipped with LCD Projector and latest audio-video equipments. There are forty three lecture halls having capacity of 80 each. There is currently one air-conditioned Computer lab having over 60 computers with latest configuration. Thakur Yugraj Singh Mahavidyalaya Campus is equipped with centrally wifi facility. There is one central library and a reading hall for 20 individuals with provisions only for teaching staff. There is a separate reading hall for students having capacity of 50. The library has more than 15000 text books and reference books. There are more than 50 journals and magazines of national and international reputation in all relevant subjects. There is a Book-Bank facility for the students of SC/ST/OBC categories and for other economically poor and meritorious students.
